Our Mission

RootCamp is an innovation hub that catalyzes innovation within the agriculture and food industry. The accelerator is located in the heart of Hannover, the capital of the German federal state Lower Saxony and a center of the agriculture and food industry.

RootCamp's mission is to disrupt the agri-food value chain, combining startup programs and corporate innovation. We support international AgriFood innovations, to create a scalable positive impact.

RootCamp is a multi-corporate innovation hub. Our founding partners are the SpinLab Accelerator, with a track record in programs for startups in Energy, E-Health and Smart Mobility, and K+S, a worldwide player in the fertilizer and salt field. The full list of partners can be found here

RootCamp looks for the best innovations worldwide from startups and scaleups. We offer startups mentoring programs, which last from 3 to 12 months. To seize growth opportunities, teams get unique access to coaching, mentoring, expert knowledge and the network of corporations, investors and other entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the programs fuels the implementation of ideas into concrete pilot projects with a non-equity grant valuing up to 50k euro. RootCamp bridges the gap between startups and corporate partners and facilitate their collaboration thanks to a stage-gate process and expert project management support.
