  • Who can apply?

    Internship Opportunities and Initiative Applications

We are always open to interesting personalities who wish to support our vision with innovative ideas and new ways of thinking. Feel free to send us an application at jobs@root.camp

    Vacant Positions

All positions advertised are currently vacant. Unfortunately, we cannot store your data in a way that allows you to use it for two applications. For two applications, you will need to fill out the online form twice.

Partnership in the Context of a Dual Study Program ("Praxispartnerschaft")

Up to now, we have not offered support for dual students as a "Praxispartner." However, this may change in the future. As soon as any changes occur, we will update the FAQ.

  • How does the application process look like?

    Application Process Overview

We carefully review each application, and this process may take some time, particularly if we receive numerous applications for a single position. However, you are always welcome to contact us if you have any questions regarding the status of your application or the application process.

    End of Review Process

At the conclusion of the review process, you will either receive an invitation for an interview or a rejection.

    Permanent Employees

The initial interview is conducted digitally and typically lasts around one hour. It's an informal opportunity for us to get to know you better, discuss your motivations and background, and align our expectations. We'll inform you of our decision within about a week.

If we see potential for a mutually beneficial working relationship, you'll be invited to a second interview, during which we'll assess your professional suitability. You'll also work on a case study as part of this interview.

If you successfully complete this stage, we'll invite you to join the team for a lunch meeting in the following days to meet everyone.

    Working Students/Interns

During the interview, we'll inquire about your motivations, assess your technical knowledge, and align our expectations. Following the interview, there are three possible outcomes: you may receive a direct rejection, an offer for a working student/intern position within a few weeks, or in some cases, we may ask you to tackle a case study. You'll receive feedback from the team, and if your results meet our expectations, you'll receive an offer from us shortly thereafter.

  • What do I need for the application?

    Application Requirements

For your application, we require a cover letter, a resume (in English), and relevant certificates/references.

    Cover Letter

In your cover letter, succinctly express your passion, what drives you, and your professional aspirations on a single page. Relate this information to the job requirements, demonstrating what distinguishes you from other applicants. Focusing on your connection to RootCamp showcases your motivation.

    Resume

When crafting your resume, emphasize the most significant and pertinent career milestones. Prioritize relevant practical experience over your educational background, if applicable.

Including a photo is optional; the choice is yours. Before submitting your application, we recommend verifying the accuracy and completeness of your personal information, especially your phone number and email address.

    Certificates

In addition to academic and professional certificates, kindly share references related to relevant activities. If you're still pursuing your studies, please include a summary of your grades.

  • How do I prepare for an interview?

We kindly request that you familiarize yourself with our organization and its activities beforehand. Typically, we do not provide a detailed introduction during interviews, assuming that you have already undertaken this as part of your interview preparation.

Furthermore, reflect on why you believe you are the ideal candidate for the position. We aim to understand you with your unique qualities.

Lastly, don't hesitate to prepare questions if any aspects are unclear to you. We encourage your active engagement in the interview process.
  • How is the security of my data ensured?

Of course, we treat your personal data confidentially. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties and your data will only be used for the application process.
