Who are you

MOTIVATION: You want to pilot your solution within our corporate partners’ environment and/or you are looking for distribution partners.

PHASE: Startups with established technology and products.

PRODUCT: Ready-to-scale solution, unique and with a strong scientific and/or technological background.

Program structure

  • Ideation phase: This phase is to align needs and define the project framework. 
  • Project Charter definition: This document defines the milestones, objectives, length, budget, and deliverables of the project. This is jointly created by the startup and corporate partner with RootCamp’s support. 
  • Project start: The Agreement is signed and the joint pilot can start. 

Project outcomes

We are searching together with the startup & our corporate partner for the most relevant synergies. Pilot outcomes can include for example:

  • product co-development
  • commercial partnership
  • licensing agreements
  • extension of customer base
  • additional investments

Terms

  • Every Project is supported by a budget to conduct the project (the budget is not to fund the personnel costs of the participating parties).
  • For each project, an agreement is signed with specific milestones and objectives. 
  • Each project is supported by a project manager from RootCamp and has a dedicated mentor from the corporate partner. 
  • The project length, terms, and conditions are strictly individual as all projects are different.   
  • Optional attendance to all activities of the acceleration program and events.

When

The application phase for this program coincides with the deadline of the Acceleration Program and follows the same deadlines. See the deadlines below.  

 

RootCamp Later-Stage program

 

1. APPLICATION PHASE

  • Online application on the F6S platform: upload your pitch and fill in the form.

  • Deadline: 19.03.2025


2. SELECTION PHASE
  • 2A SELECTION PHASE - Application Revision in F6S

    • Intense desk review of your application by RootCamp & corporate partners

    • 19.03.2025 - 30.04.2025

  • 2B SELECTION PHASE - Video Calls

    • Video calls with 15-25 of the most suitable startups together with our corporate partners to enable deeper discussions

    • 05.05.2025 - 05.06.2025

  • 2C SELECTION PHASE - Selection Day

    • A virtual pitch in front of our corporate partner to highlight the relevance of the startup solution for the corporate (optional / not required for all startups)

    • 25.06.2025

3. FINAL DECISION

  • About the most suitable 6-8 startups joining our acceleration program

  • Deadline: 04.07.2025


4. PILOT PROJECT

  • Pilot project with corporate partners

  • 3-12 months

  • Individual start
