ROOTCAMP ACCELERATION PROGRAM

For early stage startups

Who are you

MOTIVATION: You want to grow your startup and scale your product.

PHASE: Startups from pre-seed to Series A.

SOLUTION: Tech-driven & scalable solutions, truly outstanding, and unique.

STAGE: Show us your minimum viable product, prototype in beta, and/or some market validation.

TEAM: Founding team consisting of at least 2 people.

Program structure

The program is divided in two phases:

Acceleration program | 3 months | grant up to 6k €
Pilot project (optional) | up to 12 months | up to 40k €

Acceleration program

The program consists of a 12 intense weeks with a both in-person and virtual presence.

You get weekly personalized coaching and a network of mentors that supports you on topics like IP, finance, fundraising, sales, marketing, IT, HR, etc. During this period you have full access to the office, access to our e-learning platform, and all events. This phase ends with a Demo Day.

Pilot project

After that, you will have the possibility to get additional 9 months to further define, develop and pilot your product/technology in cooperation with our corporate partners.

This project's length, terms, and conditions are strictly individual as all projects are different.

Pilot outcomes include:

product co-development
commercial partnership
licensing agreements
extension of customers base
additional investments

Terms

We take no equity and it is cost-free.
A grant up to € 6k supports participation to the acceleration phase and additional funds are assigned to startups for the project phase up to € 40k
Compulsory attendance to the activities of the acceleration program and all events (including Demo Day).
The program is hybrid (3 out of 12 weeks are in presence in Hannover).
The program is entirely in English.

When

We generally have 2 programs per year and every startup stays in RootCamp for a minimum of 3 months up to 1 year (including the pilot project). Please check the timeline below.

RootCamp Early-Stage program

1. APPLICATION PHASE

Online application on the F6S platform: upload your pitch and fill in the form.

Deadline: 30.05.2024

2. SELECTION PHASE

RootCamp's team and selected partners choose the best startups joining the program.
Deadline: 19.09.2024

3. ACCELERATION PROGRAM

Bring your startup to the next level through workshops, coaching, and networking events
12 intense weeks
Up to 6k euro/startup
Start: 25.11.2024

4. PILOT PROJECT

Pilot project with corporate partners
Individual: 3–12 months
Up to 40k euro project budget
Individual start
