We go through all applications and send you individual feedback for your pitch deck. 

5th NOVEMBER

Deadline final pitch deck

Based on our feedback, you can send us your final, improved pitch deck. If you don't send a new pitch deck on time, we'll use the original one for the pitch session.

Pitch live on stage during Agritechnica in Hannover

RootCamp goes Agritechnica

RootCamp, the international AgTech & Bioeconomy innovation hub and startup accelerator joins forces with AGRITECHNICA 2023, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, to put the spotlight on startups during the leading agricultural fair in November. Every day, we organise the Lunchtime Startup Pitch Session from 12:00 to 14:00, providing startups with a proper stage to present their solutions. We'll deliver a casual, international (pitches in English only) atmosphere for networking, finger food for the audience consisting of industry leaders - all rounded off by an impressive framework program such as panel discussions, networking events and keynotes. We plan to categorise the pitches according to different topics such as "Machines & Robotics: Empowering AgTech" or "Software: Simplify the farmers life". Details about that are shared later - determining as well the date you are invited to pitch.

Who you are

We are looking for startups working in agriculture or connected industries. We accept startups that are part of the AGRITECHNICA 2023 as a exhibitor as well as a handful of carefully selected startups from the RootCamp ecosystem. For the latter, we are able to organise a free visitor ticket. You need to be technology-driven, providing a relevant innovation for your (future) customers.

7 MINUTES: GRAB YOUR CHANCE!

• We ask you for a usual startup pitch within the time frame of 7 minutes. Your pitch will be followed by a short question-answer session.
• Your main audience will be well-established corporates, SMEs, startup enthusiasts, associations and other experts from your field. Have this in mind for your call to action at the end of the pitch deck!
• You should cover the following topics:
• Problem
• Solution & product
• USP & Competitors
• Business model
• Traction
• Call to action: What are you looking for, investors, customers or other partners?
